I got turned on to this sound back in wrath top notch listen to it every day.

Die Antwoord is a strange band, especially at first listen, but they aren't too bad, depending on what you're in to. In their songs they speak Afrikaans as well as English, mostly bad words because the lead vocalist believes cussing in Afrikaans is much harsher than in English, and yeah a few parts are kinda silly.

Also they are meant to look "poor." It's their style, which they call Zef. Quote: It's associated with people who soup their cars up and rock gold and shit. Zef is, you're poor but you're fancy. You're poor but you're sexy, you've got style."

This particular song has to do with male circumcision (or at least partially) in some South African cultures where no anesthetic is used, and you have to do it to become a man, or be branded as an "evil boy." There ya go.
